Temple Square

A couple weeks ago, Marcos took off a random day just to come hang out with the family. He has been so busy at work and hadn't had many days off since Marissa was born so we decided it was time for a family day. Life had gotten pretty overwhelming for me with a nice big dose of the "baby blues" and probably more like postpartum depression hitting me (something I didn't experience to that degree with the boys). I really needed an outing...and some intervention (which came later). Anyway, here are some pictures from our day in Salt lake.
We walked around temple square, ate at the Lion House and even ran into Elder Oaks

We finished off our more "educational" morning with some fun at the Gateway Fountains. Marissa was content as long as she was fed (which did not always happen at convenient locations, but we made it work...one time we tucked ourselves away from people on the grounds at temple square - we couldn't find a mother's room anywhere - and another time we made it back to the parking lot at the Gateway so I could sit in the van)
