Raft River

We went to Raft River again this year and the weather was PERFECT. We had a blast! I was so glad Marcos took the day off of work. He had so much fun going down the slide with the kids. Preston was nervous at first, but as soon as he got his courage, he was unstoppable. He went up and down that hill a million times. The "big" kids (meaning the adults) ended up forming a huge train with tubes going down on our stomachs and holding each other's feet. The very last time we made it all the way to the end of the slide, hit the speed bump and slid right over into the tires that are there to keep you from going off into the road. AWESOME! We were trying to get to the end and we made it...right before it was time to go home. This place is seriously the best place for families to enjoy one another. Dylan took his cousin, Diego, and they had so much fun together! Diego went down the zip line and by the end of the day, right before we left, Dylan got up his courage and went down with Jonathan (our neighbor). He earned the sleep over with Diego he'd been begging for all day. :) I'm just glad he got brave. He is so hard on himself when he doesn't do something he really wants to be able to do.
