A couple weeks ago, Anthony's parents called to say he was sick. Dylan was so sad...he'd been talking about his buddy coming over for two days. I decided to call my friend, Courtney, to see if Kambrie could come over to play. They had so much fun. They get along so well and, according to both of them, they're getting married some day. We've decided it's a great idea because Dylan would end up with some pretty awesome in-laws. The two of them played and danced and had a great time. At one point, they were dancing to the music on a Little People toy. They were holding hands and jumping around in a circle. When the music stopped, Dylan put his arm around her shoulder (as if to lead her) and I heard him whisper softly, "Come on, my princess." Are you kidding me? It was so funny. I almost burst out laughing. Instead I smiled and watched them some more. I wonder where he heard that anyway...I'm positive Marcos has never said that to me.
On Valentine's Day, Dylan took a valentine around to some of his friends. He was so excited about doing valentines this year so I bought some from the store. It was all I could do to get him to wait a week until Valentine's Day arrived. They were these gummy bug valentines and he thought they were pretty cool. They said things like "Valentine, I think you're fly" "This bug's for you" "Best buggies" and "Give me a bug hug." They were pretty cute! Anyway, he took one to Kambrie. Today Marcos and Mike (her dad) were in a church meeting together. I guess Mike was telling Marcos that Kambrie really liked the valentine. When she saw the valentine she got so excited and told her mom, "He really loves me." So cute!
While she was here playing I thought it would be fun to get a cute picture of them playing together, but they just wouldn't hold still for two seconds. Here's what I got.
