The Toddler Adventures Continue

This is what happens when my 5-year-old decides he wants to do an art project and finds his own art supplies (a Sharpie marker) and then leaves the art supplies out for my 2-year-old to discover.  Need I say more?  Thank goodness for magic eraser.

This doesn't do the mess justice at all.  There was marker EVERYWHERE!

A very sad Preston sitting on timeout.
(Notice the marker all over his arm - it was on his shirt too, but you can't tell from the picture)

I know it's not funny but hahahaha! I thought we were the only ones with more marker on our walls and bodies than on the paper ;)

I am glad that the Magic Eraser worked for you... Maybe Preston thinks its OK to paint on the walls and make messes since he has seen you guys painting and making messes as well lately :) (J/K)

I'm glad to hear that magic eraser works for that because I'm sure I'll have to try that later. I had almost the same thing happen this week, but I caught Noah right before he got bored enough drawing all over himself and had only gotten a little bit on the floor. Why is it they find the PERMANENT markers when they are getting into mischeif? I was tempted to take a picture of Noah with marker all over himself like you did with Preston and put it on my blog, but the thing is Noah would've then thought he was awesome for doing it and not in trouble...Before Noah got into the markers I had so had it that I put myself in a "mommy time out" and when I came back downstairs that is what I saw. I love being a mommy. Everyday is a miracle, but some moments sure test you, don't they?! Good job having a good attitude about it!

Acacia has been doing this A LOT lately! Luckily just with the crayola markers and her crayons but every time I turn around she has colored another wall, the banister, the floor, even Jackson's high chair! Gotta love 'em!
