Little Ears Are Always Listening

I had a rough day teaching Primary on Sunday. I was a little negative on the drive home and told Marcos I wasn't sure I could teach this class. I forget sometimes that little ears are always listening. Out of nowhere, Dylan's little voice says, "Mom, do you not want to be a teacher?" Oops... I quickly try to back pedal by saying, "I do want to be a teacher. I just had a hard day today." Dylan then says, "No, I don't want you to be a teacher." What? That totally caught me off guard - I expected him to say okay and be fine with the whole thing. Then he says, "I want you to be a mom." It was so sweet! The negative moment was gone and my eyes welled up with tears at the thought of my beautiful, loving little boy.
