Leah's Birthday

The kid had two huge pieces of pizza that day!  He must be growing.

What a crazy week!  I haven't had time to do anything - not housework, not laundry, not grocery shopping...not even blogging.  I am so behind.  So here is some documentation from our week of fun.

Last Sunday, my niece turned 6 years old.  I can hardly believe it!  We lived in a mortuary apartment next to Dave and Laura when she was born and I have so many memories of her as a baby.  Marcos used to go get her and bring her over to say hello early Saturday morning (his attempt at waking me gently).  I can't believe it's been six whole years since then.  Crazy! Anyway, because her birthday is so close to Halloween, she always has a costume party.  We went over after church in costumes and ate some yummy pizza.  The kids played, Leah opened her presents, and then we had cake and ice cream.  It was a really fun party and Leah was excited about the scooter she received from abuela and her cousins.  Yippee!
