Day 9 - Park, Pizza & Pavement

Instead of leaving early in the morning on Saturday, we decided to stay until lunch so my cousin, Melanie, could drive over and we could visit with her a bit. She has three kids and is expecting her 4th in September (I think she said she was 14 weeks pregnant so we are probably 11-12 weeks apart). Her kids are Braxton (6), Gavin (4) and Emree (2). With children so close in age, we were excited for the kids to get a chance to play together. It took a minute for them to figure each other out, but by the time we were at the park, they were good buddies. It's funny how similar Dylan and Braxton can be and Preston and Gavin could be twins as far as personality goes - they are both totally mellow and content to do their own thing. I don't know if it's birth order or what, but it was really interesting to watch! The kids played at the park, we had some pizza (thanks again for everything, Gail!) and then it was time to hit the road so we wouldn't be too late getting into St. George that night. Even with a few more stops than we had hoped, it was just after 8:00 p.m. Utah time when we rolled into St. George. Not too bad at all!
