The problem with holey jeans... the sword goes through the knee of the pants.

Chillin' with GG
Preston kept going over to my grandma and having her pick him up.  He just wanted to be held that day.  Poor lady.  I bet she picked him up 20 times that evening.  I'm sure her biceps were feeling the extra work the next day.

Preston loves GG (my Grandma Betty).  He sat on her lap forever just staring at her like this.  It was so sweet and I know she LOVED it!

Sound asleep on Papi's lap

Maria and Deb (Anthony's mom) at the pumpkin patch.  One of the local nurseries here in town gives free hayrides for the first two weeks in October so we decided to check it out.  It was awesome!  You ride over to the pumpkin patch on a tractor with bails of hay on it.  Then there are free hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, you name it.  It was great!  The kids found a huge dirt pile to climb on and we got to pick pumpkins to bring home for free too.  I've never found a cooler "free" thing before.  It was a great day and the kids were only slightly dirty by the time we left (Anthony was covered in mud from head to toe by the end.  He found the actual mud, not just the dirt pile.  I was glad he wasn't riding in my car.)

Dylan and Anthony
Sorry about the lack of focus.  Marcos isn't the best photographer around (although he thinks he is)  These two are such good friends.  They posed like this without even being asked.  I've been tending Anthony since before he turned 1 so these two are practically brothers.  They act like it too!

The coolest dirt pile ever!

How dirty can I get before Mom makes us leave?

The happiest kids on the block!  This was one of our first real "jealous" moments.  Both kids wanted to sit on mom's lap.  Having two kids and two legs, I figured that was not a problem, but neither one was willing to share me.  Preston kept sliding into the middle of my lap to crowd out Dylan and Dylan would try to push him off my lap entirely.  Good times!

Preston, Dylan and Connor playing in the sandbox

I was downstairs moving the laundry and heard Preston fussing upstairs.  When I went to check on him, this is what I found.  Dylan said, "Preston was sad, but I made  him feel better Mommy."  It was so cute.  What a good big brother!

Dylan and Connor (in Tony's sweatshirt).  They're ten months apart and great buddies.
If only Angie lived a little bit closer.  :)

It's called J&J Nursery and is here in Layton - you just head west on Gentile. They said they do it every year from October 1-15 if the weather is okay. I don't know if it's every day of the week or what. I think it starts at 6 p.m. every night. I don't know much else about it though. We found out about it that day from Anthony's parents and decided to head on over and check it out. It was completely unplanned, but turned out perfect! You could probably give them a call and ask since the weather is supposed to get better the next couple of days.

Hmm...I think Alicia said she was thinking of going to JC Penny's for pictures. I'll have to show her Sara's.

I've got to print out a few of our pictures for grandma since she's not exactly the computer type.

The pumpkin patch thing really is the coolest free thing! That's so awesome that you guys did that spur of the moment. (I'm always saying "that's so awesome.") I also got a huge kick out of the sword through the hole in the pants!

Lis- I'd say given a choice between our repetitive phrases, I'd take "that's so awesome" over "I was freaking out".
